Did you have any prior development or coding experience?

Yes, before FatCoupon, we had an app called FoodiEats, which is a QR Code food ordering app.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

The most challenging is to understand our users' need and to develop an app that our targeted users need.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

How can users save money when they shop on their cellphone?

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

I am proud that FatCoupon is the FIRST app to be able to automatically apply coupon codes on the cellphone. Honey was even a few months later than us. Our coupon codes are better since we have more exclusive codes, and our cash back rates are higher than most of other apps, such as Honey or Capital One Shopping. In one word, we can save more than Honey and Capital One Shopping.

What are your future plans and expected features of the coming new versions of this app?

We just released a new version in which we integrated mobile Safari extension. Our users can automatically apply coupon codes and cash back when they shop on their safari browser on their iPhone.
