First seen in 1973, when Nike introduced the Blazer as its first basketball sneaker, named after the hometown team Portland Trail Blazers. Now, 46 years later, almost half a century, the Blazer is as popular as ever, and it transformed to be a multicultural icon. The latest update, nodding to the version from 1977, sports a leather upper with nubuck overlays and distinctive mini metallic Swoosh emblems scattered over the upper, adorning the regular Swoosh.
